VIDEO GAMES: RULE 1

This post will teach you the basics of what I have learned about designing video games. The first step  that I took was writing out the rules, because my game was only multiplayer and had very little storyline. If your game has a storyline, I would recommend writing that out before the rules, because the rules are shaped by the story. For example, if you write out the rules before the storyline, you could have some features of your story that could not be in the game because of the rules.
